 For 2023, here are 4 helpful government grants.


1. A financial aid program called the Capabilities Development Grant (CDG) is intended to help SMEs expand and improve their operations.

2. Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) Grant - The Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant, provided by IE Singapore, assists Singaporean SMEs who intend to expand their operations abroad for the first time and who need financial support to conduct market research prior to making a decision to enter the market.

3. Global Company Partnership (GCP) Award - Offered by IE Singapore, the Global Company Partnership (GCP) grant aids Singaporean SMEs that intend to expand their operations internationally. The main distinction between the MRA and GCP awards is that the latter also apply to companies with existing international operations.

4. Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) - The Government will offer a new Enterprise Development Grant (EDG Grant) from the merger of two existing grants, CDG and GCP, run by Spring Singapore and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore respectively. This grant is for businesses that need a more comprehensive and tailored support for innovation and internationalization. It will be managed by Enterprise Singapore, a brand-new organization created via the union of Spring and IE Singapore.
